Neuroscientists found that meditators transfer their brain activity from one area of the cortex to another. /> A study at the University of Massachusetts Medical School recorded the brain waves of stressed employees of a high-tech firm in Madison, Wisconsin. The subjects were split randomly into two groups…25 people were invited to learn meditation over eight weeks, and the remaining 16 were left alone as a control group. Every participant had their brain waves scanned three times during the study…at the beginning of the experiment, when the meditation lessons were finished eight weeks later and four months after that. The researchers found that the meditators showed an obvious shift in activity to the left frontal lobe of their brains. In other words, they were calmer and happier than before.

Treatment for Insomnia?

Like many people who meditate, you may find that you have greater self-esteem, self-confidence and inner peace. You might find you can concentrate more easily and your ability to learn and remember improves. It’s no surprise that practicing meditation, with its effects of quieting your mind and relaxing your body, has been found to be an effective treatment for insomnia. Several studies have already shown that regular meditation results in higher blood levels of melatonin, a hormone that plays a critical role in the regulation of sleep.

P.S. If you’d like help in learning meditation or want to be inspired to practice it regularly, consider my Qi Gong Meditation CD. How would you like to be stress free, feel happier, more relaxed and energetic? These are just a few of the miracles that people who have used my meditation program experience on a regular basis. You gently close your eyes and follow the guided imagery that allows your body to heal itself.

As a practitioner of Chinese medicine I sought to design a healing program that my patients could listen to when they were between treatments. I’m talking about a guided meditation audio program that would balance your body the way an acupuncture treatment does but without the needles. So I thought what if you could clear your negative emotions by just putting in a CD into your player? What if you could do this easily and effortlessly in less time that it takes to watch a sitcom? If you’re like most people, you can’t seem to relax and unwind, but this is exactly why we all experience so much stress and illness!

This sound healing audio uses ancient meditation techniques that easily remove stress and allow for greater health and well-being. The guided imagery shows you how to inject loving energy into your internal organs. You probably know that your precious internal organs are your most important source of life energy.

The new Qi Gong Meditation CD facilitates rapid healing through:

The ancient Chinese science of sound

Guided imagery culled from my 20 years of experience in Chinese medicine

Exactly what is Qi Gong? A vital part of Traditional Chinese medicine since ancient times, Qi Gong is taught to hospital patients in China to speed their healing.

Studies have shown that Qi Gong can:

Reduce pain

Balance your emotions

Lower blood pressure

Reduce your risk of stroke

Improve the quality of your sleep

Increase blood supply flow to your brain

Boost your energy, strength, & vigor

Increase concentration

Strengthen your mind

Extend your lifespan

And more!*

In less than 30 minutes each day, the healing power of the new Qi Gong Meditation CD will bring you fast results!

Even my patients who have used the CD two or three times per week (or even less) have experienced dramatic results. But the more you use it, the faster your health will improve and your stress will melt away.

Click on http://www.theqigongmeditation.comto find out more.

P.S. As a bonus diagrams are included inside the CD to aid your visualization.
<p

In the sedentary meditation form we meditate on our internal organs to maximize their effecinacy. On Wednesday, October 17 & 24, 2007 from 7-8:30pm I am teaching a class called Qi Gong Meditation. You will learn the treasured Taoist secret of putting loving energy into your organs to optimize their efficiency. Plus, you can receive a new bonus added to this class that is unlike any other Qi Gong class. I am now using the ancient Chinese science of sound. These are sounds that harmonize your internal organs and energy pathways. This sound therapy is based on research of the Chinese classic Huang Di Nei Jing, the Yellow Emperor’s Inner Classic.

To register and for more information go to <a
