Acupuncture Promotes Weight Loss in Women

Twenty women, all between the ages of 22-42 and with a body mass index (BMI) higher than 27, were divided into two groups. The women who followed a regimen of a 2,000 calories per day diet, daily exercise and weekly acupuncture treatment, lost on average, more than twice as much weight as those who only dieted and exercised, even if they did not comply exactly with the treatment plan.

  • I do not usually comment on a blog but I liked your post therefore I was compelled to do so. Straying off the subject somewhat, what is your opinion regarding walking? It is generally being promoted as the best exercise to burn fat.

  • Walking is great exercise…every step you take helps move your blood and lymphatic circulation. And it is beneficial for your spine unlike running which is jarring to your spine (unless you run on a mini-tramp). Keep on walking and burn that fat!

Thank you very much for the nice post!
Many guys always have no idea why they couldn’t lose weight or have great shape. The point is they seeking for a silver bullet which brings them what they want at once meanwhile all they need to do is keep reading helpful articles like this as well as do the exercises.

  • Maybe you could change the post name title Study Shows Women Lose Weight with Acupuncture – Minneapolis, MN | Acupuncture Blog Minneapolis / Steven Sonmore, L.Ac. to something more suited for your webpage you create. I loved the the writing nevertheless.
